Immiland Canada is currently seeking talented Chefs to join a renowned restaurant and be stationed at various restaurants across Canada mostly Quebec.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, as well as creating meals and specialty dishes.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities

Consult with clients regarding events, banquets and specialty functions

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs

Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Recruit and hire staff

May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.

May create and review new recipes

Requirements

Completion of secondary school is required.

Gastronomic school graduate (hold a valid college certificate or diploma)

At least 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial food preparation.

Experience in management training and supervision activities

Food Handling Certificate is an asset
