Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities across different jurisdictions. This senior-level position will play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and transparent financial operations, while managing teams across the UAE, Turkey, Egypt, and China.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and bookkeeping for 10–15 legal entities in the UAE (both free zone and non-free zone).
• Manage the accounting team in the UAE, as well as teams in Turkey, Egypt, and China.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial statements, with full visibility for the CFO and shareholders.
• Lead the consolidation and preparation of group financial statements, where applicable.
• Oversee and ensure successful completion of audits.
• Implement and maintain accounting processes in line with IFRS standards.
• Support the hiring and development of a 7–10 FTE accounting team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, with proven track record in managing multi-entity operations.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards and hands-on experience applying them in a business environment.
• Experience in international trading.
• Strong leadership skills with team management experience (at least 2–3 direct reports).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics systems in a multi-entity environment.
