Position Summary
The Clerical Assistant I provides routine clerical support following established procedures of Pretrial Services. The work is generally repetitive and is performed under the supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor. The work is routine in nature, easily learned, and once learned, can be performed without close supervision. Employees in this class may be required to perform data-entry tasks as needed.
As with any entity within the First Judicial District, the Pretrial Services Department may be called upon to ensure the performance of essential duties or functions as deemed so by administrative and governing bodies, which may result in an individual being available to perform essential tasks during court closures and/or non-traditional hours.
