In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure that supports advanced data science and machine learning workloads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments while implementing DevOps best practices and automation frameworks. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and performance of analytics systems, supporting critical business decisions. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, tackling complex cloud operations challenges while driving continuous improvement. Accountabilities:

  • Manage, scale, and optimize cloud platforms for data-intensive workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Provision and maintain compute clusters for machine learning workloads using Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, Databricks, or SageMaker
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions, and automated testing frameworks
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and operational reliability
  • Support smooth data ingestion, transformation, and model execution workflows, collaborating with data scientists and engineers
  • Implement cloud security controls, compliance checks, and governance procedures for sensitive data
  • Serve as a technical advisor on cloud architecture, operational best practices, and performance optimization
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (EKS, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI)
  • Experience supporting data-intensive or ML workloads and implementing automation for operational efficiency
  • Preferred: knowledge of financial services or regulated industries, ML/AI platforms (Databricks, SageMaker, MLflow), cloud networking, and distributed compute frameworks (Spark, Ray, Dask)
