CNS/ATM Lead System Engineer

The Lead Systems Engineer will:

  1. Be accountable for on-site management of the System Engineering Office and all CNS/ATM systems engineering and safety assessment activities;
  2. Lead and participate in the Design Reviews and Technical Workshops for the various CNS/ATM implementation and coordinate the resolution of Design/Implementation details/changes; and
  3. Contribute to the development and improvement of systems engineering life cycle processes and deliverables for the Systems of Interest Implementation, such as the System Integration and Transition Program and the Cutover and Technical Support Program.
  4. Co-ordinate the resolution of design/implementation details/changes;
  5. Present regular reports to management.

Qualifications

Education and Training

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science or above awarded by a tertiary institution in any part of the world or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook);
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Experience

  • At least eight (8) years’ of post qualification experience in the field of systems engineering;
  • Sound knowledge on CNS/ATM systems engineering and safety assurance standards;

  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills;
  • Excellent leadership and management skills - able to motivate and enthuse, excellent communication, team worker, consensus builder and effective meeting chair;
  • Ability to identify and analyse complex issues and suggest and implement solutions;
  • Ability to maintain cooperative and effective working relationship.
