We are currently looking for a new colleague in Asset management in Germany.

What will the role involve?

  • Portfolio Management
    • Assume full end-to-end ownership of asset releasing within the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely leasing, minimal vacancy periods, and alignment with business objectives.
    • Lead negotiations on early renewals and lease extensions, securing favourable terms that reflect current market conditions while protecting long-term portfolio value.
    • Leverage ESG initiatives (PPA’s, EVCI, batteries, …) as commercial value drivers, positioning sustainable features as competitive differentiators
    • Proactively engage with customers to address concerns and enhance satisfaction, implementing solutions that reduce turnover and drive high retention rates.
    • Assistance with the acquisition and sale of properties, provide input for commercial reporting questions from IM (partnership, banks, ..)
  • Leasing & Negotiations
    • Deliver excellent service to both prospective and existing customers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the leasing journey.
    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of inquiries, property tours and applications
    • Conduct engaging property tours and site visits that highlight key features and align with the specific needs of prospective customers.
    • Engage and contract with service providers such as brokers to attract new deals
    • Negotiate lease terms within established company guidelines, achieving agreements that balance customer needs with organizational objectives.
    • Draft, review, and lock in legally compliant lease agreements, safeguarding both business interests and customer satisfaction.
    • Document and defend leasing deals towards our internal stakeholders and investors
  • Business Development
    • Establish long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in the real estate market (brokers, municipalities, landowners,…) to enhance deal flow and expand business opportunities.
    • Actively engage in industry events, networking sessions, and community activities to strengthen visibility and credibility.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that highlight unique property features and value propositions.
    • Contribute to the development of creative promotional materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Market Intelligence
    • Continuously research and analyse market activities, pricing strategies, and new developments.
    • Monitor demand and supply trends to provide actionable insights for commercial strategy and pricing decisions.
    • Identify emerging industries and customer segments that present growth opportunities.
    • Translate market insights into proactive leasing strategies that drive occupancy and rental

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills  

  • 5+ years experience in a commercial real estate role, preferably in the industrial and/or logistics sector;
  • An entrepreneurial personality with a university degree, preferably in engineering, real estate management or a comparable qualification with professional experience;
  • A charismatic networker, professional negotiator and a natural leader;
  • Good knowledge and skills in project management;
  • You are able to combine technical aspects with the commercial side of things;
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal) as well as German and you can communicate with your colleagues and external partners across several German and international locations;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and digital applications.
