Last Energy seeks a commercially focused professional with power or energy sector experience to help drive capital formation, investor engagement, and project-level financial initiatives. This role will support key strategic financing efforts and gradually take ownership of end-to-end commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to build lasting relationships across investors and partners.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support project capital raising activities, including relationship management, investor due diligence and outreach efforts Oversee and refine project financial models, including plant cost models, working closely with engineering and finance teamsSupport and eventually lead dedicated project-level capital raises (development facilities, grants, and project finance)Execute special commercial initiatives from structuring to closeCollaborate across departments to align financial, technical, and strategic objectives
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial, financial, or investment roles within the power, energy, or infrastructure sectorsBachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong financial modeling and valuation capabilitiesExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with both investors and technical stakeholdersHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple dynamic projectsComfortable operating in a high-growth, startup-style environment that requires initiative and adaptabilityBased in or willing to relocate to London, UK
