We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Compliance Officer with strong expertise in offshore regulatory frameworks and licensing requirementsin our Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s ongoing compliance with offshore regulators, managing licensing obligations, and maintaining robust compliance policies and controls across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day assistance for the Compliance Officers of offshore licenses across relevant jurisdictions (e.g., Seychelles, Mauritius, Kenya, South Africa, etc., depending on business scope)
  • Ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements, license conditions, and reporting obligations
  • Develop, implement, and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with offshore regulations
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business; advise senior management on required actions
  • Oversee AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, and risk management frameworks in accordance with offshore regulatory standards
  • Conduct internal compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Support license applications, renewals, variations, and regulatory filings
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to internal teams
  • Liaise with legal, operations, and senior management to ensure compliance is embedded across the organization

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field (advanced or professional compliance qualifications are an advantage)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a compliance role with demonstrated offshore licensing exposure
  • Strong knowledge of offshore regulatory regimes and compliance expectations
  • Hands-on experience with AML/CFT regulations, KYC procedures, and regulatory reporting
  • Proven experience interacting with offshore regulators and managing regulatory correspondence
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, fintech, crypto, brokerage, or gaming.
  • Familiarity with international compliance standards (FATF, OECD, ISO, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and competing regulatory deadlines
