We’re looking for a Component Validation Engineer to lead Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) activities for components within Electric Drive Modules. This role acts as the main point of contact for all validation planning, execution tracking, and reporting. You’ll support multiple components and programs, ensuring testing is delivered on time and with quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for all DVP&R activities
• Review project timing, requirements, and deliverables
• Develop, release, and maintain DVP&R documentation
• Track validation progress and ensure completion of testing and technical reports
• Prepare and publish status updates for leadership and stakeholders
• Collect, analyze, and present engineering test data
• Write technical reports and support issue tracking
• Represent DVP&R in internal and supplier meetings
• Recommend validation actions during design changes
• Host tactical validation meetings and document outcomes
• Review supplier 8D reports and support incident resolution
• Support outsourced testing through work orders and procurement requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 2+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with technical report writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to work during core team hours (e.g., 8:00–16:30 EST)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Engineering
• 4+ years of related experience
• Automotive industry background
• Experience with electric motors or power inverter modules
