Contract Platform Engineer - AWS

Codurance is an innovative consultancy that helps organisations embrace the power of technology to drive business success. We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Platform Engineer - AWS to join our dynamic team. As a Codurance Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and contribute to the success of our clients' projects.

This is an initial 6 months contract, inside IR35.

Day rate: 550-600 day

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy AWS cloud solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps tools and practices.
• Provide expertise in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and reliable systems in AWS.
• Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Monitor and optimise AWS infrastructure to ensure high performance and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for AWS architecture, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS platform engineering.
• Proficiency in managing and configuring AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes - Helm, ArgoCD, Kargo
• Comfortable with GitHub Actions and GitOps
• Strong understanding of AWS Services
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
