Position Overview

CFD Research is seeking a Creative Marketing Coordinator to support and expand our internal marketing capabilities. This role will work closely with the marketing lead to create visually compelling assets that support both internal employee engagement and external marketing initiatives, including conferences, tradeshows, digital campaigns, and corporate communications.

In addition to creative design support, this role will assist with administrative and coordination tasks. The Creative Marketing Coordinator will play an important role in organizing assets, supporting logistics, and helping execute projects from concept through delivery in a growing company. This position is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable balancing creative work with operational support.

This position is ideal for a junior-level graphic designer who is eager to apply their creative skills in a collaborative environment and grow alongside a strategic marketing function. The Creative Marketing Coordinator bridges creative execution and marketing strategy, ensuring that CFD Research’s brand is visually communicated clearly, consistently, and impactfully across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

The Creative Marketing Coordinator will support a wide range of marketing efforts, including but not limited to:

  • Creating and updating visual marketing assets such as flyers, brochures, social media graphics, email visuals, web graphics, and presentation materials
  • Supporting conference and tradeshow preparation, including signage, booth graphics, handouts, and other event materials
  • Assisting with the design and coordination of branded swag, including stickers, promotional items, and giveaways
  • Ensuring all design work aligns with CFD Research brand standards and visual identity
  • Collaborating closely with marketing team members and internal stakeholders to translate ideas and messaging into effective visual assets
  • Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
  • Supporting both internal marketing initiatives (employee engagement materials, internal communications) and external marketing campaigns (tradeshows, digital outreach, brand promotion)

Administrative and Coordination Support:

  • Assisting with conference and tradeshow logistics, including asset preparation, shipping coordination, and material tracking
  • Supporting the ordering, inventory, and organization of branded swag and promotional items
  • Managing and organizing design files, templates, and marketing assets to ensure easy access and version control
  • Helping track project timelines, deliverables, and task status in coordination with the marketing team
  • Providing general administrative support related to marketing activities, including document updates, internal requests, and coordination with vendors or internal teams

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator or InDesign)
  • Ability to create and support graphics for both digital and print applications
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with basic marketing principles and how design supports audience engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to receive and apply feedback
  • A creative eye with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Relevant graphic design or marketing design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on work; 2 years of experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent professional experience, internships, or a strong portfolio of relevant work are encouraged to apply.
