Key Responsibilities:
● Alumni & Learner Engagement: Build relationships with current students and alumni to create a strong referral pipeline
● Referral Generation: Proactively identify referral opportunities within our learner ecosystem and convert them into warm leads. This would be done by making cold calls.
● Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Student Success, New Programs, Careers, and Academic Delivery teams to:
- Surface top alumni advocates
- Time outreach with course milestones
- Integrate referral prompts into the student journey
● Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate referral data in the CRM, track referral stages, and follow up diligently
● Program Promotion: Effectively communicate program offerings and outcomes to referred prospects
● Feedback & Insights: Bring referral-related insights from alumni and students to internal teams to improve program quality and retention
● Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly referral-based enrollment targets
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
● Are a strong relationship builder who earns trust quickly
● Have experience in community engagement, referral sales, or alumni relations
● Know how to collaborate across teams to create unified, high-impact campaigns
● Are organized, persistent, and motivated by outcomes—not just activity
● Have a good grasp of how experienced tech professionals think and decide
Preferred Experience:
● 2–5 years in customer success, inside sales, community or alumni management, or referral marketing
● Prior experience in ed tech, upskilling, or career transition programs is a big plus
● Familiarity with Freshdesk, Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM systems
● Strong written and spoken communication skills
