Position: Cybersecurity Risk Analyst
About the role Information security analysts are responsible for enhancing the overall security of the organization. They evaluate, test, and document security solutions and controls, and work closely with other members of the security team to remediate risks while ensuring the company's continued innovation. Information security analysts must continually adapt to anticipate cyber attackers and stay current on the latest methods they use to infiltrate computer systems. Analysts in this role are expected to learn and grow continuously. This is not a passive role and requires a passion for security and a commitment to protecting the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Utilize and configure technical systems to monitor unusual and suspicious activity across a wide range of products.
• Collaborate on security configuration standards for enterprise systems and applications.
• Integrate with the information security team to support change management processes. • Participate in technical and non-technical projects that require information security oversight and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Integrate into the security team, collaborating on incident monitoring and response (IR) with the Security Operations Center (SOC) teams.
• Maintain vendor management standards, questionnaires, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders for risk assessment.
• Recommend new security approaches and business process changes to support existing security controls, without negatively impacting or severely hindering business innovation.
• Liaise with the security team regarding product team initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
