The Data Analyst and Scientist role reports to the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and is part of the Data Team which is dedicated to advancing data-driven decision-making across the company. In this high-impact position, you’ll contribute to enhancing our data querying, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities—directly influencing the success rates of marketing and sales campaigns. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with teams across the company, and help evolve our data strategy. Responsibilities
- Design and optimise SQL queries and data flows: Build high-quality prospect lists that drive effective marketing and sales campaigns.
- Data Integration and Preparation: Combine, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure cohesive and accurate data sets for analysis and campaign targeting.
- Report Generation and Insight Delivery: Develop detailed reports and deliver actionable insights to support marketing, sales, and leadership teams in making informed decisions.
- Dashboard and Visualization Building: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to various audiences. Build and automate report production for business users.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Regularly assess and ensure ongoing accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data used for campaigns and decision-making processes.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to define requirements, understand data needs, and translate business objectives into technical solutions and reports.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis/science roles.
- BSc degree in statistics, data science, business analysis, or other related technical field.
- Proven ability to design and deliver complex SQL queries and high-accuracy reports tailored to the needs of diverse business stakeholders
Data skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning
- Experience with data analysis libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning and AI models
- Familiarity with data lakes (BigQuery preferred)
- Experience with version control using Git
