Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations between Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms and third-party healthcare systems.
• Develop and support interfaces using industry-standard healthcare interoperability frameworks, including:
• HL7 for clinical and administrative data exchange
• FHIR for modern, API-driven interoperability
• RESTful APIs for system-to-system communication
• Configure, test, and validate integration workflows to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to maintain data accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
• Ensure high data quality and compliance with healthcare data standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and clinical stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions.
• Support and optimize interface engines such as Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody.

Qualifications & Skills

• EPIC certification in one or more relevant modules.
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with a strong focus on data integration and interoperability.
• Hands-on expertise with HL7 messaging and RESTful API-based integrations.
• Working knowledge of FHIR standards is highly desirable.
• Experience with EHR systems and enterprise interface engines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in complex enterprise environments.
