Database Health Assessment Consultant

Role Overview:

Advansys is looking for a Database Health Assessment Consultant to perform deep diagnostic reviews of database systems (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL). You’ll evaluate performance, stability, and security, then deliver actionable recommendations for optimization and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health checks on client database systems.
• Analyze performance metrics, query efficiency, and configuration settings.
• Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
• Deliver detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Advise on performance tuning, indexing, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Strong background in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and/or MySQL.
• Experience with database monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
• Familiarity with database design, indexing, and query optimization.
