Dental Assistant

Work Schedule:
- Monday 8 AM - 5 PM
- Tuesday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Wednesday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Thursday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday 7 AM - 1PM
Compensation Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Prime Scan and Cerec experience required
- Comfortable with extractions, crowns, dentures, all on four
- Implant knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Working Environment & Physical Requirements.
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
