Dentist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our well-established dental practice in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will provide exceptional dental care to our valued patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout every visit.

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals
• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, developing personalized treatment plans for each patient
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care measures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to ensure efficient operations
• Stay current with the latest advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technologies
• Prioritize patient comfort and build positive, trusting relationships with individuals of all ages

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Current registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand
• Minimum of two years of experience in general dentistry, preferably in New Zealand
• Proficiency in dental procedures and techniques, including restorative, preventive, and surgical dentistry
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and treatment planning
• Empathy and ability to put patients at ease, particularly those with dental anxiety
• Familiarity with dental regulations and practices in New Zealand
