DevOps engineer - Tietoevry Create

We are looking for a DevOps engineer who wants to be part of Tietoevry Create. Tietoevry Create is the leading digital accelerator for innovation and sustainable value creation. We combine business design with software engineering to bring digital business to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-study and analysis of technical requirements and evaluate third-party solutions for compatibility and performance.

• Manage and optimize GitLab infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure compliance with security standards.

• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance workflows using modern DevOps tools.

Technical Requirements

• AWS (must-have), experience with other public cloud providers

• Strong experience with Linux and networking fundamentals

• Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

• Experience with on-premises installations (will be an advantage)

• Familiarity with GitLab administration and integrations (will be an advantage)

• Solid technical background in DevOps practices and automation

• Experience in requirements analysis and architectural aspects of complex solutions

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating third-party products into enterprise ecosystems

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
