DevOps Engineer - US

Location: Strong preference for Chicago

What you'll do:

• Automate processes and write scripts in Python within our trading environment and with live production code.
• Work with our SQL database for cleaning, storage, and data pipeline related work.
• Handle real-time operational issues in an efficient and prompt manor.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule for our production environment.
• Build operational tools and applications to support both our trading system and our team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills you'll need

• Python experience strongly preferred
• SQL experience preferred
• Prior DevOps experience
• Ability to multi-task and keep an eye on things while working
• Ability to manage competing priorities in real-time
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Linux skills
• Strong problem solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and predictable availability

This role is 4 days a week, covering US evenings and Weekends (1pm-10pm rotating 4 days)
