  • Support development of detailed accessibility conformance reports
  • Highlight non-compliant elements and assess user impact
  • Provide clear, prioritised recommendations to guide remediation planning and product roadmaps
  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of accessibility statements for digital platforms

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with product owners and development teams to ensure timely platform audits
  • Support prioritisation of issues based on user impact, legal risk, and development complexity
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and content creators

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Professional experience conducting digital accessibility audits of web-based products
  • Strong proficiency with assistive technologies and accessibility auditing tools (screen readers, keyboard navigation, axe, WAVE, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1/2.2 (A and AA levels)
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles as they relate to accessible design
  • Experience using audit findings to inform conformance documentation and accessibility statements

Technical Skills:

  • Foundational understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of accessibility techniques such as ARIA
  • Familiarity with how assistive technologies interact with digital interfaces
  • Light touch understanding of relevant legislation (European Accessibility Act, Equality Act, ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549)

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to assess and communicate severity and user impact of accessibility issues
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for delivering audit feedback
  • Analytical mindset with ability to assess user impact and issue severity
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Join a organization that's genuinely committed to accessibility and inclusion. You'll be part of a team that's making a real difference in ensuring our digital content is accessible to users with diverse needs.

About the Company

Informa is a leading academic publishing, business intelligence, knowledge, and events business, creating unique content and connectivity for customers worldwide. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 100.

Taylor & Francis is one of the world’s largest publishers of high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journals, books, e-books, and reference works. We empower learners, thinkers and doers with trusted knowledge that advances research and enriches lives. We bring together diverse people, ideas, and opinions to validate and publish the experts, theories and truths that matter. And we’ve been doing this in an unbroken arc since 1798.

Our purpose is to foster human progress through knowledge.  We strongly believe that this requires us to encourage and examine different ideas and voices so that any work that meets our exacting levels of quality deserves to be included in our publications. This requires open minds, the opportunity for robust debate, and the courage to defend perspectives that stand up to scrutiny, even if they conflict with our personal beliefs or values. Because that’s the only way to find the best obtainable version of the truth and, ultimately, foster human progress. If you agree, then we’d love to hear from you.
