In this role, you will lead the implementation of innovative digital delivery strategies for bridge infrastructure projects, working with cross-functional teams of engineers, planners, and project managers. You will be responsible for advancing the use of cutting-edge technologies, including 3D modeling, digital twins, generative design, and data management, to improve project efficiency, quality, and risk management. This position requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong leadership to develop internal processes, support staff learning, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality project outputs. You will collaborate across the organization and with clients to implement digital solutions, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to thought leadership in the field. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on infrastructure projects while shaping the digital transformation of bridge design and delivery. The role is flexible with remote or hybrid work options.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement an internal Bridge Digital Delivery strategy, including technology adoption, staff training, quality control, and assurance processes
  • Lead the creation and management of bridge data management strategies and workflows
  • Support project teams in implementing client digital delivery requirements at the project level
  • Monitor and integrate emerging bridge and AEC technologies to enhance delivery capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business groups to ensure alignment and adoption of digital delivery processes
  • Represent the organization at industry events and through publications to advance thought leadership
  • Oversee small workgroups, assign project tasks, and manage quality and risk associated with digital models
  • Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineering License preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leveraging bridge technology in modeling, analysis, data management, and digital delivery
  • Advanced proficiency in CADD/BIM and bridge modeling software (e.g., OpenBridge, Inventor, InfraWorks, Revit)
  • Knowledge of data flows between geometric modeling and analysis software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff
  • Experience managing small teams and coordinating project tasks
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Innovative mindset and ability to challenge established norms
  • Preferred: experience with bridge stress/strain analysis software
