Bright Harbor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Adult Residential Services to lead and manage our Adult Residential programs. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with mental health challenges in residential settings. This role involves program development, staff supervision, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Position Title: Director of Adult Residential Services
Position Type: Full Time; 40 Hours/Weekly; Rotating on call coverage.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for the Adult Residential Services team, ensuring high-quality and client-centered care.
  • Deliver both clinical and administrative supervision to staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Conduct ongoing, comprehensive assessments—including biopsychosocial evaluations, independent living skills, vocational readiness, and substance use assessments—to inform individualized treatment planning.
  • Provide direct clinical care and support to clients and their families.
  • Oversee and coordinate housing placement and representative payee (SSI and SSD) funds to ensure accurate and timely rent payments.
  • Coordinate vocational and educational services, including job readiness, placement, and on-the-job support.
  • Monitor and report program data trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide program improvement and decision-making.
  • Participate in utilization review processes to ensure the highest standards of client care and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement annual performance indicators, outcome measures, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure program compliance with all regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Manage program budgets and resources effectively to maintain financial sustainability and operational excellence.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support residential staff through ongoing coaching, training, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with community partners, funders, and other stakeholders to enhance service integration and outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in personnel activities, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the organization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • LSW/LAC Required
  • LCSW/LPC Preferred
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with severe persistent mental illness
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with residential programs and subsidized housing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
