Role Overview
The Director of Marketing will own Prospere’s full marketing pipeline and brand presence. This role combines leadership and execution, leading a team while personally managing campaigns, systems, and reporting. The ideal candidate has deep experience in B2B lead generation, specifically reaching small business owners and entrepreneurs through events and content. Our top team members also have an intense thirst for learning, new trends, and bringing a fresh perspective to the organization. Experience in HubSpot or a similar CRM and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of internal marketing specialists and external vendors.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across business units (sales, operations) to support cross-division campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure accountability and performance.
- Create and manage department budget.
Brand and Content Strategy
- Strengthen and evolve Prospere’s brand identity and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Own content creation for all online and offline activities.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across platforms and teams.
- Create and execute a public relations strategy, including press releases and awards.
- Work with franchise and SEO partners to optimize the website for SEO, lead capture, and brand consistency.
Speaking and Events
- Develop and organize workshop and event series for sales team to execute.
- Own advertising strategy to fill events and provide immediate calls to action to develop sales leads from the events.
- Create and manage speaker training for sales team.
- Identify external speaking opportunities for trained team members to present at, expanding our brand presence in community.
Lead Generation and Campaign Execution
- Work with team and vendors to develop and manage full-funnel B2B marketing programs across multiple platforms. Generate qualified leads for each of our divisions.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for audience targeting, creative, messaging, and funnel conversion.
- Collaborate closely with our Director of Sales to align marketing campaigns with pipeline and revenue goals.
HubSpot, Analytics and Reporting
- Work with our internal HubSpot expert and agency to optimize CRM workflows, reporting, and integrations across divisions.
- Use dashboards and reports for real-time visibility into leads and performance making informed decisions.
- Report weekly and monthly on lead generation metrics, ROI, and pipeline contribution.
- Translate marketing data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.); five years related experience or a combination of both.
- Previous experience as a Marketing Director in B2B with a holistic marketing background, specialties in content creation or event marketing a bonus.
- Experience managing teams and external vendors.
- Proven track record with reaching business owners and entrepreneurs.
- Master proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate results clearly.
- Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects and campaigns
