Position Summary
The Director of Product Management and Innovation will lead the strategic development, lifecycle management, and innovation of our Managed Services Provider (MSP) product portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying emerging market trends, driving product differentiation, and ensuring our offerings deliver exceptional value to clients. The ideal candidate is high energy and combines deep knowledge of MSP services with strong business acumen, excellent cross-functional collaboration ability, leadership skills, and technical understanding to shape the future of our product strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with company growth objectives and market demands.
- Identify opportunities for new services and enhancements to existing offerings which bring quantifiable value to clients.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, the service offerings of enterprise class IT services companies, and emerging technologies to maintain market leadership.
- Innovation Leadership
- Drive ideation and development of innovative MSP solutions, including cloud, cybersecurity, automation, and AI-driven services.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the business.
- Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle: concept, design, development, launch, and retirement.
- Ensure products meet profitability targets and deliver measurable client outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner, collaborate with, and engage Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Act as the voice of the client, translating feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Financial & Performance Accountability
- Develop pricing strategies and business cases for new products.
- Track KPIs such as revenue growth, margin, client satisfaction, and product utilization
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in product management or product innovation roles within the MSP or IT infrastructure services industry.
- Proven track record of launching successful MSP products and driving revenue growth.
- Skills:
- Outside-In mindset and a quantifiable client value proposition orientation.
- Strong understanding of MSP offerings (vCIO, consulting assessments, regulatory and industry compliance, cloud, cybersecurity, managed IT services).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and financial metrics.

- Revenue KPIs
- New product revenue contribution (% of total revenue).
- Gross margin per product/service.
- Client KPIs
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) for new product offerings.
- Client churn rate related to product performance.
- Innovation KPIs
- Number of new ideas evaluated and approved for development.
- Percentage of revenue from products launched in the last 24 months.
- Operational KPIs
- Average product development cycle time.
- Percentage of roadmap milestones delivered on schedule.
- Market KPIs
- Market share growth in targeted MSP segments.
- Competitive win rate for new offerings.
This is a hybrid position. Employees will work both on-site and remotely.
