Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Locomotive Engineer/Conductor based out of Richland, WA. You will be responsible for ensuring safety and providing excellent customer service in your designated area. This position requires individuals who are certified as Remote Controlled Locomotive Engineers as it involves operating as a one-man crew.

Responsibilities
Operate locomotives safely and efficiently, adhering to all established regulations and protocolsOversee and manage all aspects of locomotive operations, ensuring on-time performance and customer satisfactionConduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on locomotives to ensure optimal performance and identify any potential issuesCommunicate effectively with managers, crew members, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goodsUphold high safety standards and promote a culture of safety among the teamProvide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionallyAct as a mentor and resource for crew members, assisting in their training and development as needed
Qualifications
Must hold a valid certification as a Remote Controlled Locomotive Engineer1 Year of Railroad ExperienceProven experience operating locomotives and working in a railroad environmentStrong understanding of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to railroad operationsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situationsAttention to detail to ensure accuracy in recordkeeping and documentationDemonstrated commitment to customer service and a strong attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal to no supervisionMust possess a valid driver's license
