We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced data centre professionals.
Profile Description:
Operating at programme level, the Electrical Engineer will support the design, coordination of electrical systems across multiple data centre projects. Working closely with SMEs, and design managers, this role will assist in technical reviews, documentation, and project delivery from initial feasibility through to construction and handover. The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our data centre ‘product’, as documented within our standards, helping to maintain our leading market position.
Key Responsibilities:
Standards and Governance:
- Assist the Electrical SME in maintaining programme-wide standards, templates, procedures, and best practices for electrical systems.
- Support alignment with local regulations, client requirements, and company protocols.
Design Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Help ensure projects are delivered in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Support project design managers in defining the electrical scope of work for each phase.
- Participate in multiple data centre and substation projects from concept to detailed design, ensuring compliance with standards and relevant regulations.
- Assist in reviewing consultant deliverables for safety, compliance, spatial coordination, constructability, and maintainability.
- Help verify specifications and sizing of generators, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, and cables.
- Support technical bid reviews for contractors and equipment vendors.
- Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases, responding to information requests and assisting with design execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Innovation:
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align electrical strategies with operational goals.
- Participate in technical workshops with internal stakeholders to explain electrical design strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies in electrical engineering and data centre design.
- Enable internal stakeholders to apply and uphold the implemented electrical standards effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Proven 2 to 3 years' experience in Data Centres, preferably on client side
- Knowledge of electrical power system studies, AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.

- Interest in designing and implementing electrical systems for data centres.
- Ability to support technical reviews and resolve engineering challenges.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
