Knowledge Centre India (KCI)

Knowledge Center India (KCI) is the central engine that drives the operational value for the firm. Established in 2004, KCI has evolved over the years from purely operational efficiencies into more value-added service offerings, becoming a true business partner. There are various teams based at KCI that work with Global Offices, Practice Groups, and the Management across all aspects of the firm's business life cycle. The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced AI & Copilot Platform Administrator to own the end-to-end management, governance, and operations of our enterprise AI ecosystem—including Microsoft 365 Copilot, EZ Copilot (custom Copilot extensions), Azure AI Search, and broader GenAI/LLM platform services.   This is a critical role responsible for ensuring availability, performance, compliance, and secure integration of AI capabilities across the firm.   You will work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infra, and Consulting teams to operationalize and scale AI solutions across Egon Zehnder.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced AI & Copilot Platform Administrator to own the end-to-end management, governance, and operations of our enterprise AI ecosystem—including Microsoft 365 Copilot, EZ Copilot (custom Copilot extensions), Azure AI Search, and broader GenAI/LLM platform services.   This is a critical role responsible for ensuring availability, performance, compliance, and secure integration of AI capabilities across the firm.   You will work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infra, and Consulting teams to operationalize and scale AI solutions across Egon Zehnder.  

Key Responsibilities 

Platform Administration & Operations 

• Own day-to-day operations of M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio environments, and Ez Copilot extensions. 

• Administer Azure AI Search, indexes, vector stores, data sources, skillsets, and indexing pipelines. 

• Manage Azure OpenAI Service configurations, capacity, deployments, and safe-use guardrails. 

• Monitor system health, logs, performance, and usage metrics across AI workloads. 

• Manage identity, access, and role-based permissions for all AI platform components. 

Copilot Extensions & Integrations 

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Copilot plugins, Graph Connectors, and custom RAG data connections. 

• Manage integration of internal knowledge bases (SharePoint, ADLS, internal DBs) with Copilot. 

• Support chunking pipelines, embedding updates, enrichment workflows, and index refresh logic. 

• Work with DE and DS teams to deploy new AI capabilities and ensure smooth rollout. 

Governance, Security & Compliance 

• Enforce AI platform governance frameworks, responsible AI policies, and data protection standards. 

• Coordinate with Cybersecurity and Compliance to ensure safe content handling in AI features. 

• Maintain audit trails, data lineage, and platform configuration baselines. 

• Conduct periodic reviews of access, usage patterns, and anomaly detection for GenAI workloads. 

Release & Environment Management 

• Manage release cycles for Copilot Studio, AI Search indexes, and custom LLM-based applications. 

• Work with Engineering teams to promote builds from Dev → QA → Production. 

• Plan and coordinate upgrade paths, capacity expansions, and platform migrations. 

User Support & Enablement 

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for M365 Copilot and EZ Copilot usage. 

• Monitor user adoption, provide training, and support troubleshooting across consulting teams. 

• Collaborate with product/business owners to capture enhancement requests and refine workflows. 

Documentation & Standards 

• Maintain platform runbooks, SOPs, architectural documentation, and knowledge articles. 

• Standardize operational practices for AI Search indices, data connections, and RAG pipelines. 

• Ensure complete compliance with firmwide architecture and security guidelines. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 14+ years in Platform Administration, Cloud Operations, or Enterprise Application Management. 

• Strong working knowledge of: 

1. Microsoft 365 Copilot administration 
2. Copilot Studio (environments, publishing, data connections) 
3. Azure AI Search (vector + hybrid) 
4. Azure OpenAI Service 
5. Azure AD / Entra ID & RBAC 
6. SharePoint administration 
7. Azure Data Lake / Blob 

• Good understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, embeddings, RAG architecture, and vector search. 

• Hands-on experience with automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python is a plus). 

• Strong operational discipline, change management, and monitoring experience. 

• Excellent communication skills for supporting both technical and non-technical users. 

• Experience in enterprise-scale deployments and global user environments.
