Engineering Manager - Shared Services

Bluesight is seeking an Engineering Manager (EM) for Shared Services to lead, define, plan, and execute initiatives across our Shared Services team.  The EM role will drive the planning and execution of complex technical initiatives for our Shared Services team. This team develops and maintains  APIs and applications that can be used across multiple Bluesight products to drive consistent user experiences, de-duplicate data coming into and going out of our systems, and interconnect Bluesight products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure, secure software development lifecycles, cross-team dependencies and project management. This role will require both Engineering Manager responsibilities (people, process and technology management) and hands-on technical contribution. We expect hands-on coding to be about 20-40% of the job, with the remainder spent on people management and leadership. You’ll both lead and actively contribute to our shared services codebase.
