We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead, scale, and mentor a high-performing engineering team. This role combines deep technical leadership with people management, ownership of system architecture, and close collaboration with product and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise across backend, frontend, and application development, along with a passion for building scalable, secure, and customer-centric products.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineers across backend, frontend, and mobile/app development
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning
• Support career growth through coaching, performance feedback, and skill development

Product & Delivery Ownership

• Own end-to-end product delivery—from requirements and design to development, testing, deployment, and post-release support
• Partner closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Ensure predictable delivery while maintaining high engineering quality

Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define and evolve technical architecture and engineering strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
• Design, build, and scale distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
• Drive best practices around system performance, reliability, scalability, and security

Engineering Excellence

• Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response processes
• Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 8–11 years of overall experience in software development, including 3+ years in engineering leadership or people management roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (B.Tech – CS mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or similar
• Solid experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Exposure to mobile application development (Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native)
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance technical leadership with effective people management

Good to Have

• Experience in fast-paced product or startup environments
• Exposure to analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven experimentation
• Knowledge of application security best practices and compliance standards
