The Role
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for 3-7 strategic customers. The primary goals of this role is to:
- Ensure Amperity aligns with the customer’s overall enterprise technology ecosystem, business strategy, and governance frameworks.
- Operate at the intersection of business and IT strategy, bridging enterprise executives, architects, and Amperity.
- Drive alignment of Amperrity to enterprise data platforms, AI/analytics strategies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring long-term scalability.
- Partner directly with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, and enterprise architects on the client side to influence strategic outcomes.
Your skillsets will include; the ability to align SaaS or data platforms with enterprise strategies, ability to provide technical depth across data architecture, governance, cloud platforms, and AI/ML integration. You must demonstrate executive presence and strong communication skills with a passion for influencing strategy that drives alignment of technical solutions to measurable business outcomes within the context of working with the world’s largest and best known consumer brands.
Interesting Problems
- Align Amperity architecture with the client’s broader enterprise data strategy, digital transformation goals, and regulatory environment.
- Serve as the enterprise-level advocate for ensuring Amperity solutions meet both business outcomes and IT strategy.
- Map Amperity components (AmpID, Amp360, AmpIQ, Profile API, RT tables, AI/ML integrations, etc.) into the customer’s end-to-end data and marketing ecosystem (EDW, CRM, ESP, AdTech, MarTech, Analytics, Customer Service).
- Guide enterprise roadmaps to reduce complexity and duplication across platforms.
- Lead conversations on enterprise security, data residency, compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, airline/financial regulations), and data governance frameworks.
- Ensure Amperity adoption strengthens enterprise compliance posture.
- Own the Value and Solution Blueprints at the enterprise level.
- Ensure implementation choices meet future scalability, resiliency, and sustainability needs, reducing long-term technical debt.
- Engage directly with executives across IT and business (CIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer).
- Represent Amperity in enterprise architectural forums and strategy discussions.
- Be a trusted advisor for decision-makers to maximize adoption and business value.
About You
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, field CTO roles, or senior technology leadership within SaaS, data platforms, or digital transformation environments.
- Strong track record of aligning SaaS or data platforms with enterprise strategies in complex, regulated industries (e.g., airlines, retail, financial services, healthcare).
- Technical depth across data architecture, governance, cloud platforms, and AI/ML integration.
- Executive presence with the ability to engage CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, and senior enterprise architects as a peer advisor.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical strategies.
- Experience owning enterprise-level architectural blueprints, governance processes, and cross-platform integration strategies.
- Comfortable operating in a non-billable or low-billable field executive role, prioritizing long-term enterprise adoption and value over short-term utilization metrics.
- Passion for influencing strategy, simplifying complexity, and ensuring technology decisions produce measurable business outcomes.
Location
We have a hybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three days in the office days each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
We will also consider fully remote in CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MN, NJ, OH, OR, and TX
Compensation
Base Salary: $150,000-$210,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
