ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Engineer

Maintain the facility through preventative and corrective general maintenance.

• General Cleaning & Upkeep: Sweeping, mopping, waxing floors; cleaning restrooms/kitchens; maintaining grounds (landscaping, trash removal).
• Minor Repairs: Replacing light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling tiles; fixing leaky faucets, clogged drains, door hardware; patching drywall/walls.
• System Support: Changing HVAC filters; assisting with inspections of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Equipment & Tool Care: Cleaning, maintaining, and safely operating hand/power tools and assigned vehicles.
• Documentation: Completing work orders, logging time and materials, reporting significant issues to supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Following all company safety rules, securing work areas, and identifying hazards
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leaks.
• Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply technical material, schematics, and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
