This role is focused on designing, reviewing, and optimizing water, wastewater, and environmental engineering systems. You will work on a variety of projects, including treatment facilities, sewer and water systems, pipelines, pump stations, remediation sites, and solid waste facilities. The position involves both office-based design work and periodic site visits to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable engineering solutions. The environment is technically challenging, detail-oriented, and offers opportunities to work on impactful infrastructure projects. Accountabilities:

  • Develop engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and other environmental infrastructure
  • Review draft designs and reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies
  • Conduct site reviews and studies to validate designs against project specifications and location requirements
  • Update and maintain design requirements based on evolving project needs and client feedback
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver efficient, sustainable, and compliant engineering solutions
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and best practices in environmental design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as required (approximately 0–10%)
