ETL Engineer - Core Banking (T24 & Cortex )
TAWANTECH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer – Core Banking (T24 & Cortex) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data solutions, specifically tailored for core banking systems. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for core banking systems, specifically utilizing T24 and Cortex environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Build and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Ensure efficient data integration and movement between systems while maintaining high data quality standards.
- Implement data governance and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive information and comply with banking regulations.
- Monitor and optimize data processing to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with analytics and BI teams to support reporting and data visualization efforts.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide support for data-related issues in the core banking environment.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, specifically within a banking or financial services domain.
- Extensive experience with core banking systems, particularly T24 and Cortex.
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Deep understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in developing data pipelines and optimizing for performance.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices, especially concerning banking regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
