As an Experienced Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production meets the highest quality standards while providing leadership and training to our team.

Your Role as Experienced Baker

In this position, you will leverage your established skills in baking to create a variety of fresh, delicious products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a baking environment and demonstrate a passion for leading a team to deliver exceptional results. You will work closely with the bakery team to drive freshness, quality, and an amazing customer experience.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Oversee the baking process, ensuring adherence to recipes and production schedules
  • Train and mentor junior bakers and team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery to abide by health and safety standards
  • Engage with customers to provide an exceptional service experience and listen to feedback

Requirements

What You Bring to COBS Bread

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial baking environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Passion for baking and a commitment to quality and customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Open availability including weekends

Physical Requirements

  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent turning and reaching
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, and forward bending
  • Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
