By The Bay Health, a non-profit established in 1975, set the standard for hospice in the U.S. by emphasizing the role of the patient in making important medical decisions. Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. Our team approach strives to address practical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of care, with the goal to maximize quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families.
The Facilities Coordinator will provide support to the By the Bay Health facilities department with tasks and projects related to maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of buildings or facilities, as well as the transportation of objects.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location:
Buildings located in Larkspur, Sonoma, S.F., Redwood City, Novato, and San Mateo
By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Respond to maintenance requests as assigned and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other repairs.
- Install, maintain and repair fixtures, furniture, and other equipment and/or appliances.
- Assist in reconfiguring cubicles, workspace planning and building projects including moving furniture and other items across various locations.
- Assist in transporting donated items from donor’s place of residence or business to By the Bay Health Thrift Shop or other locations as needed.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year experience performing related duties.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, as well as use of a company van.
Pay Range:
$38.00 - $40.00 hourly
