About the Role
Albireo Energy is looking for a Field Automation Specialist I & II's to perform device checkout, network verification, and commissioning support on data center automation projects. You'll work with increasing independence alongside experienced technicians and engineers on some of the most demanding construction projects in the market.

What You'll Do
• Perform point-to-point device checkout and I/O verification.
• Verify communications networks including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Support commissioning testing and system startup activities alongside engineers.
• Coordinate with other trades to support project objectives.
• Maintain field markups of as-built drawings and submit accurate daily reports.
• Communicate proactively with senior technicians regarding technical issues.
• Complete assigned OEM and internal training as part of your career growth plan.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in BMS, EPMS, controls, or industrial automation.
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC controls, electrical power monitoring, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with PLC-based automation and enterprise BMS/EPMS platforms.
- Proven experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project field environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with any PLC Vendors, Rockwell / Ignition preferred.
- Exposure to IST, advanced commissioning, and live data center cutovers.
- Working knowledge of networking infrastructure (VLANs, switches, fiber/copper).
- Experience with energy-efficient control strategies and advanced operational processes.
Salary Range: $60k-95k DOE.
