We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys owning end‑to‑end financial processes, thrives in a values‑led organisation, and wants to be a trusted partner to senior leadership. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, with real visibility and influence across the business, supporting accurate financial reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives that underpin Civica’s growth.

  • Support management and statutory reporting, including consolidations and detailed variance analysis.
  • Prepare and lodge GST and FBT returns ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in partnership with the Corporate Finance team.
  • Partner closely with business units, Group Finance (UK), and the Centre of Excellence team in India to resolve accounting matters and improve financial processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within financial reporting.
  • Review and maintain key balance sheet accounts, including tangible and intangible assets, contract assets, deferred revenue, and provisions.
  • Act as a key liaison for external auditors (KPMG) and tax advisors (EY), managing audit and tax deliverables end to end.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Strong understanding of IFRS, tax compliance (GST, FBT, and income tax), and financial reporting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex contracts, assess revenue risks, and apply appropriate technical accounting treatments.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations within a regional or global environment.
  • Effective communicator, able to engage confidently with internal stakeholders across Finance and Commercial teams, as well as external advisors.
  • Proven people leadership capability, with experience delegating work, coaching, and delivering outcomes to deadlines.
  • High level of proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Pivot Tables; experience with Oracle NetSuite and Workday is highly regarded.
  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance; CA or CPA preferred.

We really do want you to bring your whole self to work. There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
