Financial Accountant

DOF is expanding the team.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Accountant to join the accounting team in Singapore. This is a permanent role and is required for an immediate start.

About DOF Subsea:

DOF Subsea is a specialist subsea service business that provides subsea construction, subsea engineering, inspection, repair and maintenance and survey services, which involve complex and challenging engineering in an international environment.

DOF Subsea owns a large fleet of modern subsea construction, intervention and survey vessels that enable it to offer differentiated positions with its clients and work in long term relationships, which enhance service delivery and reduce the overall risk.

The company’s core business is project management, engineering, vessel operations, survey, remote intervention and diving operations, primarily for the Offshore Energy, Marine Telecommunications and Renewables markets.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be team-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be part of a small but dynamic accounting team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. The team is responsible for delivering accounting services to DOF Group entities.

 You will be responsible for the following:

• Perform month-end closing tasks: accruals, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Hande fixed assets transactions.
• Prepare intercompany invoices.
• Assist with IFRS 16 Lease Accounting.
• Prepare country-specific government reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation and posting of customers' payments
• Assist with monthly cashflow forecast
• Prepare Financial Statements and handle audits for assigned entities.
• Assist with internal improvement reviews to enhance processes and efficiency.

Requirements

We are looking for a Financial Accountant who possesses the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Professional certification such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA,or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, audit, or reporting. Experience gained from one of the “Big 4” audit firms is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge ofInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
