About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial / Project / Practice Analyst to support our regional Practice Directors in managing the financial and operational performance of their portfolios. This full-time offshore role will play a critical part in ensuring projects remain on track — financially, operationally, and contractually. You will work closely with Practice Directors, Project Managers, and the Finance team to provide data analysis, insights, and reporting across project delivery, timesheets, billing, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track project performance and financial health across multiple engagements, ensuring accuracy of time entries, billing data, and project budgets.
• Reconcile project actuals against Statements of Work (SoWs), including validation of hours, billing rates, milestones, and scope changes.
• Support the monthly project financial review process with variance analysis, forecasting, and commentary.
• Maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility of project margins, utilization, and practice performance.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Delivery Leads to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and status.
• Identify and escalate risks or discrepancies related to project profitability, scope, or financial compliance.
• Assist with preparation of financial summaries and practice performance packs for the leadership team.
• Support continuous improvement in project governance and financial processes across HR Crowd’s practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project accounting, financial analysis, or business operations — ideally within a consulting, professional services, or technology firm.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret Statements of Work (SoWs) and link contractual deliverables to time and cost data.
• Highly organised, responsive, and proactive in managing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
• Integrity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
