Financial & Controlling Intern

At the Budapest location of AUMOVIO's Autonomous Mobility, we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. 

Position Purpose

To support the Finance and Controlling team in daily operational tasks, reporting, data analysis, and financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Performing plan vs. actual analyses and investigating variances
• Data collection and verification from various company systems
• Creating Excel-based reports, tables, and charts
• Supporting cost analyses and margin calculations
• Administrative support for budgeting and forecasting processes
• Cooperation with other departments (procurement, sales, accounting)
• Preparing ad hoc financial analyses
• Supporting management decision-making with financial materials

Qualifications

• Ongoing Hungarian university studies for 12 months at least in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
• Strong Excel skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Availability of at least 20–25 hours per week
• Required languages: advanced English and native Hungarian

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in finance or controlling
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, etc.)
• Power BI or other data analysis tool knowledge
