About the Opportunity
Join us and play a key role in supporting financial visibility, maintaining accounts and assets, and assisting with tax and audit matters. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong accounting background, familiarity with IFRS, and experience in finance operations. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with global stakeholders while contributing to financial analysis, system automation, and process optimization. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
  • Create detailed financial forecasts, analyzing trends and potential impacts on business performance.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform data-driven analysis of revenue streams, expenses, and other financial metrics to inform management decisions
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data reported to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand operational needs, and provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a financial advisor to business units, offering guidance on financial implications of business strategies.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial planning and analysis practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Accounting/Finance; prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and proficiency in GL, AP, and AR operations.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin required.
  • Nice to Haves

  • Experience with ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite.
  • Prior experience in the fintech or financial services industry.
