Firearms Industry Buyer

As a Firearms Industry Buyer, you’ll be the expert steward of our product assortment, vendor relationships, and pricing strategy. Your ability to source, forecast, and negotiate will directly impact our customers’ satisfaction and our company’s growth.
What you’ll do every day:
Manage day-to-day purchasing of firearms, ammunition, and accessories from key industry distributors and manufacturers.
Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing, terms, and early access to in-demand inventory.
Track market trends, sales data, and product performance to make proactive buying decisions.
Forecast demand based on seasonality, consumer behavior, and promotional calendars.
Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and warehouse teams to align buying with product launches, events, and fulfillment readiness.
Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for discoverability and compliance.
What you bring:
2–5 years of purchasing experience—preferably in the firearms, sporting goods, or tactical gear space.
Deep familiarity with major firearms brands, SKUs, and market dynamics.
Strong computer skills for use of in-house tools for forecasting and inventory analysis.
Clear communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
ATF compliance awareness and understanding of industry-specific legal constraints.
