Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity
Bethlehem Shores is a well-established, and premium, community in the heart of Tauranga known for its luxurious independent living options – and we have been busy developing an adjoining, purpose-built care centre with Living Well Apartments and Care Suites. Now, we need to build a passionate and committed team to support the care centre, and its new residents, who will start moving in from March 2026.
As our new Foodservice Manager, you will play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents by providing high-quality, safe, and appetising meals that meet our resident’s individual nutrition needs.
As part of our leadership team, you will also be responsible for the overall smooth and efficient running of the kitchen service of our care centre including supply and budget requirements, team management (including roster coordination), compliance with our Food Control Plan, and collaboration with kitchen staff to deliver a first-class experience for our residents. Our new care centre will also include a new cafe, which you will also oversee along with the well-established Shores Kitchen - a fantastic cafe located within the hub of our independent community (and open to members of the public).
Our Attitude of Living Well approach is an important philosophy at Arvida, and you will work alongside other team members across the organisation to practice and promote ‘Eating Well’ and building an authentic resident-led culture and experience.
