The Founding School Principal will provide end-to-end leadership for the establishment, growth, and excellence of the school. This role carries full responsibility for academic outcomes, admissions, affiliation, faculty development, staffing, student safety, and overall operational sustainability. The Principal will set the vision, build strong systems, and create a culture of academic rigor, values, and holistic development aligned with Indian culture and heritage.

Key Responsibilities

Overall School Leadership

  • Lead all aspects of school operations including academics, admissions, affiliations, staffing, training, marketing, and school safety
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with parents, teachers, and school staff
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent academic and co-curricular outcomes
  • Drive financial sustainability by meeting enrollment and budgetary targets
  • Act as a mentor and role model, developing future leaders within the school

Academic Leadership

  • Define academic vision and learning goals aligned with the CBSE curriculum
  • Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor teaching quality and student performance, ensuring high academic standards
  • Establish and implement academic policies, assessments, and reporting frameworks
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment
  • Drive continuous professional development and training programs for faculty

Administrative & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day school operations including facilities, logistics, and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, safety regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of faculty and staff
  • Implement school policies related to discipline, child protection, and inclusivity
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for students and staff
  • Act as the primary point of communication with parents and the wider school community
  • Represent the school in external forums, affiliations, inspections, and events
  • Maintain strong working relationships with governing bodies, boards, and stakeholders

Preferred Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in school administration or academic leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, affiliation processes, and compliance norms
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, mentor educators, and drive performance
  • Financial and operational acumen to manage budgets and growth responsibly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Appreciation for Indian culture, values, and heritage
