About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, highly analytical FP&A Associate/Manager to join our Finance team. You will play a central role in building scalable budgeting, forecasting, and pricing models to help Matter Labs make data-driven decisions. This role will support the company’s strategic finance operations, working closely with Finance leadership, Business Development, Product, and Engineering.

What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain detailed financial models (P&L, cash flow, scenario analysis)
Partner with BD/Product/Ops to develop pricing & cost models across new business lines (e.g., iRaaS, enterprise, staking, capital markets)
Forecast infrastructure costs, token compensation, hiring plans, and treasury runway
Prepare materials for leadership, board, and investor reporting
Own monthly budget vs actuals tracking and variance analysis
Implement process improvements and automation to scale FP&A function for high-growth environment
Help build internal tooling and dashboards for real-time financial tracking
About You:
3–5+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, professional services, or corporate finance
Exceptional modeling skills in Excel/Sheets (bonus: familiarity with SQL, financial planning tools, BI, etc.); adept at handling large datasets
Strong business intuition and understanding of cost drivers, unit economics, and cash flow
Excellent communicator; able to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Nice to Have:
Crypto/Web3 or infrastructure/enterprise SaaS experience
Experience supporting pricing strategy and financial planning for tokenized business models
Exposure to treasury or capital markets operations
Prior experience at crypto companies or high-growth fintech
Work model & pay
Remote‑first: work wherever you’re most effective; optional travel to team or industry events. Ideally East Coast or European time zone.
