Front-end Tech Lead

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Tech Lead to build and maintain complex, high‑performance web applications. This role is strongly hands‑on, focused on delivering high‑quality frontend code, solving complex UI and data challenges, and contributing to a modern, scalable frontend architecture. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams, contributing through code, technical expertise, and best practices rather than formal people management.

This role is critical to the evolution of our product, user experience, and the strategic direction of the frontend platform.

Requirements

6+ years of professional frontend development experience.

Strong command of TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

Deep familiarity with data fetching and state management libraries (React Query, Zustand).

Experience integrating complex authentication flows (SSO, sessions, JWT).

Solid experience with automated testing (Cypress, Jest).

Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments and deliver production‑ready code.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using React 18, Next.js 14, and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high‑performance user interfaces using Chakra UI, custom design systems, and modern UI patterns.
• Implement and maintain complex state management solutions using React Query (TanStack Query) and Zustand, including caching, synchronization, and background updates.
• Work with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling advanced data fetching, error handling, and edge cases.
• Integrate authentication and authorization flows using NextAuth, JWT‑based sessions, and third‑party identity providers.
• Contribute to Next.js middleware, routing, and server‑side logic where needed.
• Write and maintain automated tests:
• E2E testing with Cypress
• Unit and integration tests with Jest
• Apply best practices in performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and developer experience (DX).
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate requirements into clean, scalable implementations.

• Experience working on e‑commerce or marketplace platforms.
• Familiarity with GraphQL schema design and performance optimization.
