Job Title: Front-End UI Developer (React / Next.js)

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: US Hours

About Pavago

Pavago is hiring a Front-End UI Developer for a client in the home-technology industry. This role is focused on turning design files (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) into fully functional, responsive, pixel-perfect React/Next.js web pages.

This is not a full-stack or backend role. It is a UI implementation role focused on clean layouts, precise styling, and smooth user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert Figma / Adobe XD / Sketch designs into clean, responsive React/Next.js pages.
  • Build reusable UI components following the provided design system.
  • Ensure layouts match the design exactly (pixel-perfect execution).
  • Develop pages that are responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Implement clean, maintainable HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Optimize pages for speed, accessibility, and basic SEO requirements.
  • Test and fix UI issues across different browsers and devices.
  • Work closely with designers and team members to ensure visual accuracy.

Requirements

  • 1–4+ years of experience in front-end UI development.
  • Strong React and Next.js skills (for UI-focused work).
  • Excellent HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
  • Ability to take a design file and replicate it exactly in code.
  • Experience building responsive layouts.
  • Understanding of basic SEO and accessibility best practices.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern front-end tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You enjoy turning designs into real websites.
  • You naturally care about spacing, alignment, typography, and visual polish.
  • You prefer front-end/UI work over backend or full-stack development.
  • You take ownership and can work independently without heavy guidance.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and care about clean code.

Interview Process

  1. Screening Call – Review experience, portfolio, and design-to-code examples.
  2. Technical Interview / Coding Task – Build a small UI from a Figma file.
  3. Final Interview – Discussion with the client’s team.
  4. Reference & Background Check.
