Job Description:

Role: Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Chennai

Model: Work from Office

We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer (Web) to join our team. As a Frontend Software Engineer (Web), you will play a key role in designing and developing highly scalable and available web applications. Your expertise in frontend web architectures, UI design, and implementation will be essential in creating exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly scalable and available web applications, using modern front-end technologies like React and Redux.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and industry best practices
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to promote code quality and professional development.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, leveraging techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in web development, and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide project updates, status reports, and technical recommendations.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance, usability, and security of web applications, implementing improvements and updates as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Web Developer, with expertise in web technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Redux.
• Familiarity with mobile app development, particularly Flutter and Dart, would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of frontend web architectures and UI design principles.
• Experience in automated unit and integration testing for web applications, ensuring code quality and stability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
• A commitment to code quality, with a focus on writing clean and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
