Frontend VueJS Developer (9- month Contract to start)

We are looking for a talented Frontend VueJS Developer to join our growing global team at Sectigo.

The Frontend VueJS Developer will deliver high-quality, editable design components that will empower Marketing teams to maximize their CMS capabilities. They will implement responsive designs based on pre-developed Figma layouts, leveraging a proven technology stack that will include Nuxt, Vue.js, and a headless CMS with GraphQL integration. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for CSS styling, a passion for writing clean, efficient front-end code, and will thrive in fast-paced delivery environments. The contractor will work within a technology-focused team of developers and will play a key role in supporting communication and change within the rapidly evolving web security industry.

This is a 9-month contract position, working 5 days a week from our Chennai office at DLF IT Park, Manapakkam. The contract role can be potentially extended and/or converted based on individual performance and business needs.

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role: 

  • Orchestrate the planning & implementation of modern front-ends system.
  • Lead the development of front-end components and features.
  • Build customer-facing websites using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • Consume internal APIs, implement business logic, and work with the team to design the best ways to bring Sectigo visions to life.
  • Work with Product Team, Marketing, and UX/Brand Designers to implement world-class websites that drive conversion and enable other teams with CMS systems you support.
  • Create tests, design, documentation, performance analysis, and support teams within the business, besides day to day development work.
  • Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, etc.
  • Develop user-facing features and interfaces using Tailwind CSS and Javascript Frameworks.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide solutions for implementation.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in front-end development and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Additional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development.

Experience:

  • Converting Figma designs, to CSS and connecting them to CMS backend tooling.
  • Mature understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profiles, Talents, and Desired Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of CraftCMS (WordPress) and content management design component development standards.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Strong experience with Tailwind CSS, including utility-first methodologies.
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex) and asynchronous request handling.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript or other statically typed languages.
  • Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
